Nima Rezaei, CPA, MBA

The founder of NIMA CPA's, Nima graduated from Mira Loma High School and went on to Sacramento State University.  As an undergraduate student, he developed a close friendship with his accounting professor and fell in love with accounting. He passed all four CPA exams while simultaneously completing his MBA. He founded NIMA CPA's where he prides himself on customer service and client appreciation.

Nima is a linguist. He is fluent in  English, Spanish, and Farsi, and he has dreams in all three languages.

Edward is a Veteran and a graduate from Sacramento State University.  He started his career at the Franchise Tax Board before entering public accounting in 1978. He became a CPA in 1980 and formed various associations with local CPA's, including a ten year relationship with our own Jim Koether, another NIMA CPA. Ed also mentored Nima while Nima was studying for the CPA exam.

Ed is an automobile enthusiast, and he donates his spare time to local non-profits such as Shriners Children's Hospital.

Raquel grew up in Humboldt County and graduated from Humboldt State University. After becoming an Enrolled Agent in 2016, she relocated to Sacramento to be closer to family and has enjoyed calling the region home.

She began her career specializing in IRS tax resolution and tax preparation. Raquel continued developing her expertise in tax planning for individuals, real estate, and service-based businesses. She values strong client relationships and approaches every engagement with professionalism and care.

A CPA for almost 40 years, Jim served his clients until his final days of life. He had his own practice for many years, both individually and in association with other local CPAs, such as Ed Rose.
